How We Help
Thoughtful therapy is more than a conversation. It's a collaborative process designed to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy is Never One-Size-Fits-All
Every person who comes through our doors brings a unique story, strengths, and goals. That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. We take the time to understand your experiences, identify what's most important to you, and develop an individualized plan that reflects your needs.
Our therapists draw from evidence-based approaches while remaining flexible and responsive throughout the therapeutic process. As you grow and your needs change, therapy evolves with you.
Evidence-Based Care
Our therapists draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, selecting interventions that best fit each client's goals and needs.
These may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Strengths-Based Therapy
Person-Centered Therapy
Play-Based Interventions
Mindfulness-Based Strategies
Family Systems Perspectives
Solution-Focused Therapy
Rather than following a single approach, we thoughtfully integrate techniques that best support each individual's unique circumstances.

What Therapy Can Look Like
Understanding - We begin by listening. Together, we'll explore what's been happening, identify patterns, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges you're facing.
Building Skills - Therapy provides practical tools that can help you manage emotions, improve relationships, navigate stress, and respond to life's challenges with greater confidence.
Creating Change - Meaningful change doesn't happen overnight, but with support, insight, and consistent practice, lasting growth is possible.
Moving Forward - Our goal isn't simply to help you feel better during therapy—it's to help you build the skills and confidence to continue growing long after therapy ends.
What You Can Expect
You reach out - We will schedule a consultation call and schedule and intake.
Before your Intake - All intake paperwork is completed online via a patient portal.
Intake - We'll spend time getting to know you, learning about your concerns, and discussing what you hope to achieve through therapy.
Ongoing sessions - Together, we'll explore challenges, celebrate progress, develop new skills, and adjust our work as your needs evolve.
Therapy at your pace - Every person moves at a different pace. Some clients benefit from short-term support, while others appreciate a longer therapeutic relationship. We'll regularly check in about your progress and goals.
-
Most intakes are 90 minutes and therapy sessions are approximate 90 minutes.
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, though the frequency and length of therapy depend on your goals and needs. We'll regularly review your progress together and adjust your treatment plan as appropriate.
-
Parents play an important role in the therapeutic process, and we'll discuss the appropriate level of involvement during your intake appointment based on your child's age and needs. Throughout therapy, we'll balance parent collaboration with your child's need for a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship.
